Segment I Guest: Brad Sheppherd of Founders Financial, Inc.
We we proud to welcome Brad Sheppherd of Founders Financial, Inc. and the creator of the Freedom Capital Management Strategies. After 20 years in the industry, Brad saw the downward trends of the market and the wipe out of trillions of government wealth, he created an investor tool to build a platform to overcome some of the uncertainties in the financial world. We asked Brad how he thought the investing world has changed because of the changes in the world, he explained that investing changes are effected because of the changing conditions the world is faced with. Willingness to take risks have changed and investors are focusing on protecting their finances, not risking them. People want risk management to prevent loss and have security. Investors are less focused on finding maximum return opportunities and more focused on maintaining and protecting wealth and growing with time in a controlled manner. Freedom Capital Management provides protection and guidance along with growth opportunities. At Aquino & Wolpoff Financial Group, LLC, we are lucky to have access to FCMS for our clients.
As we discussed the Modern Growth Theory, Brad Sheppherd explains how diversification and traditional asset allocations are no longer as effective as they once were.  Concentration and rebalancing is important to keep assets strong. Right now, it is about you total time in the market and not your timing into the market. Brad and his team created FCMS because they were protecting and counseling their clients one by one and realized they wanted to create a something for everyone to have access to as the world seemed to fall apart, modernization to achieve growth became apparent.
Because we have become a global market, the conditions in places like Egypt and Greece do effect the economy in the US. Therefore, we have to be prepared for sudden changes. Part of the changes is enhancing the level of discretion. As investors, it is important to trust your advisers and know that they will make the best decisions for your and your assets. by allowing your investment team to act with limited discretion, you give them the ability to make imperative changes very quickly when needed. Rather than advisers having to take the time to call each of their clients one by one to make changes, this wastes valuable time.
